Bradbury & Son, one of the UK’s largest cheese suppliers, choose First Impression to re-vitalise their online presence

Wednesday, May 11th, 2011

First Impression, a High Peak creative design and marketing company has designed a brand new website for Bradbury & Son. The new website captures some of Bradbury’s personality – of being traditionally different and highlighting their innovation, bringing new cheese products to the marketplace.

Bradbury & Son have been in the cheese business since 1884, operating from their High Peak headquarters in Buxton. They needed a website that reflected the modern-thinking company they had become, without losing sight of their historic background. They work with major retailers, convenience stores, wholesalers, food manufacturers and suppliers to all types of food service companies, sourcing and delivering the cheese products that they need. Bradbury & Son have also developed an exciting range of their own brands of cheese that fill gaps in the marketplace.

First Impression have written the new content, designed and built the website. Chris Chisnall, Marketing Director at Bradbury & Son said, “We are very pleased with the website First Impression has developed for us. We are continually moving forward here at Bradbury & Son and the new website will enable us to keep it fresh with new products and the latest news. Bradbury & Son is an exciting place to be so watch this space for more to come.”

New business, new website for Craft Room

Tuesday, February 22nd, 2011

As an avid craft enthusiast Julia Hallsworth approached First Impression to help her fulfill an ambition to start her own business. Julia wanted an ecommerce website to sell craft and scrap book supplies. The brief was to create a website that was friendly, informative and easy to navigate where people could log on and not only buy craft supplies but get inspiration for their latest project.

The new site stands out from other craft supplies websites, it has a personable feel and look. It’s a site that creates an experience rather than just a transaction. And having just launched the new site she’s delighted to have received her first order!

New website for New Mills School

Friday, January 28th, 2011

The Head Teacher at New Mills Enterprise & Business College approached First Impression to design a new website for the school. The requirement had been driven by the school governors who felt the old site simply didn’t deliver. It was important that the new site was engaging, informative and able to be updated by the school. They wanted information to be found easily and the content needed to be appropriate for both existing parents and students and prospective parents and students.

The new site has been well received by students who like its modern, colourful design. The governors feel that their objectives have been met and that the Head and school now have a new site of which they can be proud. http://www.newmillsschool.co.uk/

New website for The Unit in Glossop goes live!

Tuesday, January 18th, 2011

The Unit opened as an exciting new gym and kick boxing centre in Glossop in April 2010. They already had a logo and a basic website when they approached First Impression but knew that to get their business to take off they really had to stand out from the competition.

First Impression helped them create a strong brand that is easily identifiable. Vibrant imagery and photography of the excellent facilities (courtesy of Sara Porter Photography) were used to create a series of flyers, to promote their launch event, kick boxing, women’s classes and New Year. All have resulted in increased membership for the gym and helped to establish The Unit’s brand in the area.

Following on from the success of the flyer campaigns First Impression was asked to design and build an effective website to further promote their classes and gym membership. We reinforced their branding on the website, making sure the website was vibrant, appealed to both men and women and was easy to use. It was also important to try and get across the excellent facilities and atmosphere they have achieved at The Unit so we used the new photography to great advantage with clear, strong messages.

The Unit are delighted. With a content management system they can now update their own news and refresh classes as necessary. Bookings and enquiries through the website have continued to grow since it was launched just before Christmas 2010.

It shows what a powerful tool a website can be for any business as you can measure its success from day one. Take a look www.theunitfitness.co.uk
