Sceptical of social media?
Tuesday, March 2nd, 2010It was interesting to read the controversial article in Marketing magazine on 3rd February that major brands are sceptical of social media. The study by Internet Advertising Bureau said that only a fifth of marketers in organisations including Coca-Cola, RBS and the COI view social media as a core element of their marketing strategy. Whilst many are confused about the role the channel should play and are indeed cautious. Three quarters state the biggest challenge is to prove it can deliver Return On Investment.
