High Peak companies scoop ‘best retail website’ at prestigious Bridal Buyer Awards 2010

In a glitzy award ceremony in Harrogate this week, Cavendish Bridal House from Hayfield, scooped up the ‘Best Retail Website’. The web designers, First Impression in Glossop were also at the event to celebrate the win.

Over 600 industry names from across the UK attended the glittering occasion at the Harrogate Exhibition centre where the 15 awards were being hotly contested. Cavendish Bridal House’s website was up against some big names yet they sailed through the judging procedure because it managed to combine glamour with ease of use.

Georgia Howarth, owner of Cavendish Bridal House said, “I was absolutely thrilled to win this award, particularly as there were some much bigger companies in the running. Customer service is absolutely vital in my business and I go to great lengths to ensure my brides get the best they deserve. I wanted a website that reflected the quality and experience of coming to my shop. A difficult brief but one First Impression understood very well. They designed a beautiful site without losing sight of the customer experience, it is still very easy to use and gives brides the reason to call me.”
