Glossop Business Centre is now open!
The Glossop Business Centre is now open after undergoing a major refurbishment. Residents of Glossop may remember the building as the old bakery or more recently as Peter DeLoughery’s Dentist, but it has now been transformed into high quality office space and training room.
Director of First Impression and building owner, Helen Duncan, explained the reasons behind the project; “The refurbishment of the building has secured First Impression’s long term future. Having rented the building for the past 3 years we had been looking for bigger offices but couldn’t find anything in the Glossop area. All along the opportunity was sitting right next door to us as half of the building was unused.
We secured a grant from Derby and Derbyshire Economic Partnership (DDEP) and have been able to refurbish the whole building to a very high standard. Uniquely we are offering small and start-up businesses the opportunity to rent on easy-in-easy-out terms with a true fully inclusive package including furniture, broadband, rates, heating, alarm system and much more. The offices are ready for tenants so anyone interested can move in and start business the very next day!

Although the business centre is now open, the official opening is Tuesday 8th September when the mayor of the High Peak, Councillor Tony Bingham will be cutting the red ribbon at 11.30am. High Peak Radio will also be broadcasting their live lunchtime show from the First Impression premises on this day.
In addition to the fantastic office space, The Glossop Business Centre also offers a top of the range training/meeting room. This air conditioned room is fully equipped with whiteboards, over head projector and DVD player and has a flexible layout to suit individual requirements.
